New Moon

I liked it. But it was just as I did with the book, I just sat there waiting for Edward to come back. All the stuff with Jacob bores me.
I wasn't happy with all of the Volturi casting at first, but I gotta say I loved how they turned out. Props to Michael Sheen, loved how he portrayed the character. All in all I thought they did a good job of following the key points of the book. It's over a year since I read it, but there's nothing I felt was really missing. Maybe a little more time with Alice, but I get why they couldn't do that.

Blood Diamond

It failed to pull me in completely, I found the focus of the story to be on the wrong person; Djimon Hounsou's performance and his character's heartbreaking story gets shoved aside for time spent focusing on the relationship between DiCaprio and Connelly's characters. It isn't before the final act that the focus changes to where it ought to have been all along.
